Gdynia - kilometres of sandy beaches and steep cliffs, beech forests with numerous hiking and cycling routes, hilltops with breathtaking views. The diversity of landscape is impressive: on the one hand the Baltic Sea, on the other hand moraine hills covered with forests, resembling sights characteristic of mountain terrain. It is the attractive leisure areas, the forest, the sea in the centre of the city as well as international cultural and sport events such as Open’er Festival, Ladies’ Jazz Festiwal, Red Bull Air Race, Gdynia Film Festival, Ironman 70.3 competition or the great The Tall Ships' Races that every year encourage millions of people from all over the world to visit Gdynia. Gdynia, called a white city, inspires with modernism, an original style in architecture referring to the silhouettes of ships. There are also two unique museums on water: ORP Błyskawica, the oldest destroyer in the world, which took part in the World War II and Dar Pomorza, over 100 years old sailing ship, one of the most beautiful frigates in the world. The city enchants with nature, high quality of living, opportunities for professional development and, what is very important, allows to live with passion. Kind and hospitable residents who are most satisfied with their city are a proof of all this. According to the Financial Times group fDi Magazine rankings Gdynia is the Polish City of the Future.
